230 Forest Avenue - Laguna Beach, CA

Located on Forest Avenue in the heart of Laguna Beach, Chef Marc A. Cohen established this restaurant in 1995. The restaurant occupies a spot on the city's historic landmarks and Chef Cohen made sure the exterior has remained relatively unchanged since the 1930s with the original doors that were there still are hanging today.

I visited for lunch but will be back for their dinner

Maui Onion Soup

Maui Onion Soup

The onion soup is very rich coz the cheese. The onion is very sweet but some still have its crunch. They are caramelized to perfection.

The bread on top soles up the perfect amount of the broth.

The broth is a flavor-filled beef with the onion as an undertone.

The cheese is slightly sharp due to it being aged.

I have had French onion soup all over but this is the richest and most hardy one I have ever had
