Appetizers
The Wontons are cooked nicely with little to no oil dripping from them.
The chicken is thigh and leg meat so it has a little fat and I had a little that was not easy to chew but the meat was cooked well.
The spices are very mild and not really noticeable.
The sauce is sweet with a very subtle hint of chili but is great cutting through the wonton.
This appetizer is not one I can recommend.
The Shrimp are cooked through and not over cooked.
The chicken is not notasable and is compleatlely lost.
The noodles are good but remind me of the ones you get at some Chinese places that are on the table.
Soups
The Tom Yum,
Noodle and Rice Dishes
The glass noodles are filled with egg, carrots, celery, onion, and egg. I had it with shrimp, was severed five. To me, the flavor was bland and needed something to spice it up.
The shrimp are precooked and become a little overcooked and tough when added to this. The egg is a little chewy and the onions and barely cooked. The tomatoes are done well which makes them soft but still firm enough to keep their shape. The chillers and carrots are much like the tomato but more to the crisp side.
It is a generous portion and very filling but just lacking flavor and depth.
The rice is cooked to a slide al Dente and is very mild in taste yet there is the very subtle heat towards the end from the chili throughout.
The scallops and shrimp are cooked to perfection.
The calamari is on the chewy side form overcooking it
The crabmeat is not real crab but that imitation one and a very big disappointment along with the menu saying it is Crab.
The onions and bell peppers are balanced the added to the dish at the end to heat them up and to be a great idea for flavor and texture
The basil that is in this dish is not notable enough to make a difference
The Pad Thai is ok but has an overly sweet sauce. The noodles are cooked al dente. Some do stick together and those have a slight crunch from not being cooked.
The shrimp are cooked to where some are under and some are overcooked.
The egg is slightly overcooked and is chewy.
The green onion is not noticeable and the peanuts are toasted making a great taste and texture change.
There is no lime in the dish and does need it a lot.
This dish is my second choice after the Tom Yum soup as it is the same flavors and ingredients but as a dish instead of a soup and the broth is thicker.
The flavors also do get more condensed and stronger with this than the soup.
The problem though with this is the rice they bring is needed as it’s not really enough for a meal without it.
Other Main Dishes
This dish is ok not great, It's sweeter than sour and some bites are like eating a sugar cube. The flavor is good though with the bell pepper and onion cutting ever so slightly the sweetness, although the onion is barely cooked it does hold up to this dish best.
The sweetness for this comes from the pineapple (canned) and they do use the liquid for the sauce as you can taste it when eating this.
The carrots are cooked like the onion and the same goes for the bell pepper but the carrots add a delicate char on them. They also add tomatoes and are still firm but do not have much flavor on their own.
The shrimp are breaded heavy and then fried up before adding them to the rest of the items. They do taste good and the amount of bread ding lends itself great for them soaking up the sauce.
The dish to me is much like ordering beef fajitas and in a way could be said it is their take on them.
The beef is very tender and had no fat or gristle throughout.
The vegetables are cooked al dente and cook more in the sauce from the hot plate.
