This Thai hot spot is a frequent local destination with good portions and resizable prices not to mention a full bar.
I would not say this is authentic Thai but more of a Thai influence and fusion with some items on the menu getting there influences from Hawai'i.
I come here when I am on Island and get one dish garentied but like to try some of there other items to.
This off menu item is to me the best item in the restaurant.
The crab is cooked to perfection with the meat being almost a creamy texture.
The beading of black pepper and other spice brings a nice kick to this with out it being so harsh you cant eat it. The beading is quick fried so some is not crisp but give a great depth of textures.
The vegitables in this complement the dish very well bringing a sweet and fresh component along with a mellow texture.
*To me this is a must have a worth it to come here just for this*
The OxTail is cooked tender and falls off the bone. It is to me under seasioned and could use something to it.
The meat was dry in some spots and most and tender in others, so hit and miss,.
There is little to no fat on the OxTail whatsoever.
The Rice is mild in flavor by itself and has no taste of the kimchi, tastes like it was cooked in the kimchi juice, but did not take on much of the depth of flavor.
Getting into the rice there is the kimchi vegetables and that's where the flavor is.
First off this i one of the most expensive items on the menu.
This is there own creation and is a big hit to me!
