Pasta - Part 1 : The Base
Ther are three kinds of wheat flour you'll find mentioned in pasta recipes dealing with Italian Style pastas: semolina, all-purpose, and the high-protein, finely milled "00" flour. In Asian Style you have Buckwheat, Rice, Tapioca, Bean, and Sweet Potato. Other styles have Acorn Corn, and Kelp.

Torditionaly you will see pasta in seven styles and from there they can be se-erased into more depending ot size and thickness but generally there are seven main styles.
I will try and explore this and show the difference between them so the articles will be a little longer..
