Eagle Rock Brewery - Stimulus

ABV : 7.75%        Style : Belgian Pale Ale

The idea of this beer was more than just accentuate a “roasty” flavor. The coffee used in this beer is produced by Intelligentsia are so nuanced and flavorful that they wanted to accentuate those flavors and find complementary components could draw in the beer.

The appearance of this beer is of clear light amber to crisp copper orange with a medium head maybe  one-inch off-white head which fades to a thin cap and leaves splotches on top and spots of lace.

The aroma of this beer has Subtle coffee notes with malt, pear, green apple, tobacco, navel orange, coffee cherry, yeasty, floral like of dandelion, caramel and toffee malts.

The flavors of this beer are of coffee probably a Colombia, tart citrus like of white grapefruit, light coffee, yeast, prune, red apple, white pepper, vanilla extract, malt, allspice, and organo. Finishes with notes of caramel and toffee.

This is a light body, like a pale ale or IPA, but a nice rich creamy mouthfeel. Carbonation is low to medium.
