Ballast Point Brewing Company - Barmy

ABV : 12%          Style :  Belgium Stong Golden Ale

It poured a pretty clear golden orange color,  with an inch head that died down to a thin ring that eventually faded away and it left some spotty lacing behind.

The aroma starts off with a high amount of hop then tapers to the sweetness with a huge honey comb aroma being the first to show up. The fruit is subtle with the apricot being a little noticeable, but not much.

The taste seems to be fairly similar to the aroma and it starts off with a higher amount of sweetness with the honey.  After the apricot flavor comes through that is more of an apricot jam. On the finish there's a heavy honey flavor with a little bit of bitterness from the hops.
